Artist Statement
The main subject of Adelina’s exploration is the nature of humans in their relationship with the environment, and the expression of their irrational, metaphysical and archaic worlds through elements of surrealism and performance.
Dance (or any physical modality) speaks to her in its own language, sculpting her image and giving it spontaneity. Her sceneries tend to contain organic and natural elements (real or artificial) as a tribute to an omnipresent connection of the human to Earth, thus interlacing within my work the elements of material and spiritual beings.

Developing a distinct visual language for editorial and personal projects that explore the relationship between movement, memory, and high fashion. Working internationally between the USA, France, and Russia.

2017 — 2020 | Photography Assistant to Nicolas Guerin | Paris — Angers
Integral to the production of high-profile fashion editorials and commercial campaigns. This intensive apprenticeship provided a master-level education in lighting, composition, and the dynamics of leading a creative team on set, directly informing my professional methodology.
